Buckstone
Oxgangs
The zone is situated between Colinton Mains Drive, Firrhill Crescent, Firrhill Drive and Oxgangs Avenue. Consultation on the proposed measures was undertaken between 06 January 2006 and 03 February 2006. A total of 1100 explanatory leaflets were delivered to households within the proposed zone area, which generated 4 responses as follows: 3 representations and 1 objection. The traffic calming features were constructed in March 2006.

Dalry
The zone is situated between Dalry Road, McLeod Street and Murieston Crescent and between Dalry Road, Duff Street and Cathcart Place. Consultation on the proposed measures was undertaken between 08 February 2005 and 07 March 2005. A total of 1800 explanatory leaflets were delivered to households within the proposed zone area, which generated 1 response as follows: 1 in agreement. The traffic calming features were constructed during Summer to Autumn 2005.

Merchiston North
The zone is situated between Granville Terrace, Polwarth Gardens, Polwarth Terrace, Ashley Terrace, Shandon Place, Angle Park Terrace, Yeaman Place and Dorset Place.
Consultation on the proposed measures was undertaken between 07 March 2005 and 03 April 2005. A total of 4171 explanatory leaflets were delivered to households within the proposed zone area, which generated 15 responses as follows: 4 in agreement, 7 representations and 4 objections. The traffic calming features were constructed in August 2005.

Southside
The zone is situated between East Preston Street, South Clerk Street, Clerk Street, Rankeillor Street, St Leonard's Street and Dalkeith Road. Consultation on the proposed measures was undertaken between 08 September 2005 and 12 October 2005. A total of 991 explanatory leaflets were delivered to households within the proposed zone area, which generated 9 responses as follows: 5 representations, 3 objections and 1 in agreement. The traffic calming features were constructed in March 2006.

Craighouse
The zone is situated between Morningside Drive, Craighouse Road, Craighouse Terrace and Plewlands Gardens. Consultation on the proposed measures was undertaken between 07 March 2005 and 03 April 2005. A total of 374 explanatory leaflets were delivered to households within the proposed zone area, which generated 11 responses as follows: 1 in agreement, 2 representations and 8 objections. The traffic calming features were constructed in February 2006.

Chamberlain Road
The zone is situated between Churchhill, Morningside Road, Bruntsfield Place and Greenhill Gardens. Consultation on the proposed measures was undertaken between 07 March 2005 and 03 April 2005. A total of 571 explanatory leaflets were delivered to households within the proposed zone area, which generated 15 responses as follows: 10 in agreement, 2 representations and 3 objections. The traffic calming features were constructed in December 2005.

Buckstone
This zone is situated between Buckstone Drive to the North and Buckstone Loan to the South and between Comiston Road to the West and Buckstone Primary School to the East. A total of 1070 explanatory leaflets were delivered to households and businesses within the proposed zone area on 26 November 2009. The results of this consultation was referred to the Transport Infrastructure and Environment (TIE) Committee on 9 February 2010. The committee decided to proceed with the construction of this scheme. A copy of the report submitted to the committee can be viewed by going to www.edinburgh.gov.uk/cpol/Link/index.html. Click on the 'Go to Committee Search' button and search for the TIE Committee of 9 February 2010. It is anticipated that this work will be carried out during the Summer of 2010.
